About the Position: Serve as the primary Contracting Officer Representative (COR), for the acquisition of a variety of specialized service contracts This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB).

Duties

Prepares, and coordinates medical requirements for contract services and other commodities, for the MTF Creates procurable requirements packages in accordance with applicable contracting activity and finance activity directions. Serves as a contracting officer representative (COR) for personal/non­ personal, medical services and support contracts. Evaluate offers, document findings, and prepare recommendations for contract award. Monitors performance and maintains all records concerning the monitoring, management, and receipt materiel and service contracts. Manages assigned service contracts to include developing and executing performance work statements (PWS).

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position has mandatory seasonal Influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal Influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
  • May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments.
  • Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekend, and/or holidays and employee may be required to work overtime.
  • May be subject to on-call or recall during contingencies, emergencies, or end of year closeout
  • Employee is required to file an OGE 450, Financial Disclosure.
  • The position requires completion of Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) Online Training. The incumbent must complete the appropriate training with six months of assignment of these duties.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience GS-07: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) assisting with monitoring contracts for compliance with applicable laws; 2) preparing reports regarding funds and/or contracts; 3) utilizing automated systems such as WAWF to maintain payment information. Specialized Experience GS-09: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) evaluating and/or preparing detailed reports regarding contracts; 2) utilizing automated systems to ensure documents are in compliance; 3) monitoring contracts and/or contractor performance to assure compliance with contract requirements
