You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT in the PRODUCTION DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will maintain records on Government-owned vehicles and update information in the MAXIMO database.
You will develop and review completed trip tickets and work orders for accuracy.
You will order and obtain state, city and local permits, license plates, required registrations and inspections documentation for the Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) on site.
You will coordinate final inspections, pickup/drop off dates for all vehicles and equipment as directed by the NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Fleet Manager.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:(1) Creating and reviewing spreadsheets and other documents relating to transportation equipment; (2) Utilizing MAXIMO or other asset management software to generate work orders and track equipment records; (3) Conducting administrative matters such as organizing, tracking, submitting reports for equipment assets and (4) Maintaining the records of vehicle assignments and assigning rental equipment.
