You will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Business Support Department, Facilities Management Division of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.
Duties
You will research facility regulations and implement local policies and procedures.
You will investigate and document facility deficiencies.
You will conduct facility inspections and develop comprehensive and thorough facility sustainment, renovation, and modernization projects from these inspections.
You will develop and conduct training and maintain all facility command support programs.
You will utilize automated systems to track purchase requests, work orders, projects, facility costs and expenses.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating extensive knowledge investigating and documenting facility deficiencies, analyzing data and problems, presenting recommendations and negotiating solutions to problems, maintaining facility databases and spreadsheets to track projects, facility costs and expenses, coordinating maintenance, repair, and service contract schedules to reduce disruption and safety risks posed to building occupants during the performance of repair and service work, and drafts all-hands messages to communicate facility repairs/projects impacts to the workforce. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Develops, analyzes, and maintains facility databases and spreadsheets to track team projects, facility costs and expenses; 2) Leads the development and maintenance of the current year Maintenance Execution Plan (MEP) and future year Maintenance Action Plan (MAP); 3) Works with personnel to resolve unplanned/emergent building management issues; 4) Obtains preventative maintenance (PM) reports to verify upcoming PM due date; 5) Communicates orally and in writing to ensure information is passed up the chain of command accurately so that those that need to know are kept abreast of all facility emergencies, command impacts, and long term solutions.
