Duties

Operates and performs operator maintenance on one or more motor vehicles including pickup trucks, panel trucks, sedans, and crew cab pickup trucks.
Vehicles are driven at highway speeds to transport supplies, materials, or equipment and tools to their destinations throughout rural or urban areas on park and/or public roads in a full range of traffic conditions (or the equivalent).
Loads cargo onto the vehicle, using appropriate tie-downs such as chains, binders, or straps for transit on public roads at highway speeds or under similar driving circumstances.
Grand Teton National Park positions will be assigned to support the parks recycling programs which includes hauling materials to recycling centers, knowledge of common recycling practices and maintain accurate records of recycling and waste diversion.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to Do the Work of the Position without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT)
Operation of Motor Vehicles
Work Practices (including keeping things neat, clean, and in order)
Ability to Drive Safely (Motor Vehicles)
