You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.

Duties

You will maintain, update, and track Division projects database for current and future projects, historical data, and staff section review comments. You will develop and draft supporting NEPA documents for project submittals that incorporate consolidation staff review comments. You will enter data and maintain ECE database and ECE project management software. You will Draft Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) to implement multimedia inspection audits and track corrective actions for deficiencies. You will assist in solving problems associated with deliveries in support of individual hardware and software orders.

  • PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in providing assistance in administering environmental protection programs and the laws and regulations related to environmental protection activities; determining relevant environmental regulatory standards and applicability; experience in MS Office; and preparing briefings and training programs. Education

You may also meet the minimum qualifications through education and/or combination of education and experience by satisfying one of the following for the:

Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.

OR

Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree.

OR

Successfully obtained an LL.B or J.D that is related to the position.

OR

Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
