About the Position: This position is an Administrative Support Assistant (Office Automation/Bilingual) located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHINSEC) Fort Moore, Georgia. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phoenix City, Alabama.
Duties
Coordinate students' arrival, transportation, hotel reservations.
Present an orientation brief to all students.
Present welcome and departure briefings related to travel, logistics, financial, post support and other briefings, as required.
Provide student head counts, names, flight information, and rosters to Head Quarters.
Prepare student vouchers by extracting information from each invitational travel order (ITO).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a current State driver's license and obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.

Specialized Experience GS-07: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) monitoring finance actions for housing entitlement and award recommendations; and (2) coordinate pay issues; and 3) draft correspondence for the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
