This position is located at Departmental Offices, Management CFO - Office of DC Pensions. The incumbent will serve as a Data Management Specialist. The duties support Treasury's responsibility for managing elements of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997, as amended. The Office collaborates with many offices within Treasury, several components of the District of Columbia government, and Congress.
Duties
As a Data Management Specialist, you will:
Perform a range of assignments that involve SharePoint, Records Center, and data management repository systems (Records Management).
Collaborate with IT, budget and procurement staffs regarding systems and software that support the management, performance, and development of the Treasury workforce.
Implement security policies, permissions, and access controls in alignment with best practices and organizational policies.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Experience leading, managing, and making presentations on information management activities; AND
- Experience administering and maintaining SharePoint or other Enterprise Content Management system; AND
- Experience performing a range of assignments that involve electronic management initiatives, electronic record-keeping, document management, data management, and other solutions revolving around Enterprise Content Management; AND
- Experience leading information and data management projects.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
