You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Common Aviation Support Equipment Program Office under PEOSTRK WPNSUA VN of PEO CM and UAV JNT.
Duties
You will manage the financial performance of the portfolio programs or projects to ensure financial system operations are efficient.
You will deliver oral presentations to justify program changes or resource requirements.
You will compose program plans for organizational direction and guidance (e.g., planning, training, funds, schedules, requirements).
You will control all resources for a program (e.g., funding, types of contracts, team priorities, schedules, integrated program team [IPT] tasking) required for successful execution.
You will integrate aspects of strategic planning (e.g., policies, force structure, command relationships) into special or sensitive activities for world-wide plans or operations.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field A Level 4. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Lead an Integrated Program Team (IPT) in providing program management and risk management support for aircraft systems and/or subsystems; 2) Plan, direct, and evaluate acquisition, management, technical development and financial control for the program in terms of risk, performance, schedule and cost; 3) Apply technical and business systems, processes, and practices to manage weapons system acquisition such as principles governing life cycle acquisition management within the Department of Defense (DoD), the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution system (PPBE), and Navy acquisition management process; 4) Plan for and synthesize requirements of competency areas such as engineering, logistics, budget, configuration management, and other functional specialties into integrated strategies to support the acquisition program; and 5) Act as a liaison to operating Joint Forces to ensure that program needs are addressed and program goals are met.
