You will serve as a Program Manager in the Atlantic Ranges and Targets Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will advise management and colleagues on difficult problems, conduct special studies, propose options/alternatives, and represent the Command.
You will participate in committees and seminars of Navy importance and lead meetings with other experts who have a variety of viewpoints/objectives on issues of considerable consequence or importance.
You will manage project/program requirements and metrics as well as resolve conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources.
You will develop agency and/or Navy program policies and resolve critical problems or issues related to policy application.
You will provide policy guidance to action officers and technical experts while serving as the final technical authority for the organization.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (DA-05) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options/alternatives, and representing the Command; (2) Participating in committees and seminars of Navy importance and leading meetings with other experts who have a variety of viewpoints/objectives on issues of considerable consequence or importance; (3) Managing project/program requirements and metrics as well as resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; (4) Developing agency and/or Navy program policies and resolving critical problems or issues related to policy application; and (5) Providing policy guidance to action officers and technical experts while serving as the final technical authority for the organization.
