You will serve as a Administrative Officer in the Air Wing I&I, EW Effects Product Director of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will work collaboratively with the Product Line Director, Technical Director, IPT leadership, and other senior leaders within NAWCWD as required You will work with the IPT Leads and various Competency managers to determine strategic personnel alignment to best support the programs You will advise command investment strategies for talent management and expertise development. You will work with the L1A BFM to determine the funds acceptance process and priorities across the AWII funding portfolio. You will provide contract management support across multiple IPT's. You will be responsible for building business processes and ensuring they are consistently followed throughout the Product Line.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DA-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing advice and guidance regarding staffing and resource allocation; 2) Formulating and implementing business practices; 3) Demonstrating experience with the procurement process; and 4) Resolving administrative issues.
