Duties

You will Lead a group of four Technicians who are engaged in the acquisition of materials and services. You will responsible for reviewing and verifying the monthly purchase card statements of the card accounts under his/her purview. You will establish contract files assembling contract documents for contractors not having a standard pattern of required documents. You will Reviews or prepares documents such as delivery orders, change orders, amendments and modifications to determine that the format, content and distribution conforms to applicable regulations and procedures. You will establish and maintains control files for purchase orders providing a summary of steps taken and information on current status. You will perform the full range of procedural work of the office.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • You will be required to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Term appointments may be extended up to 8 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Additionally, you may be noncompetitively converted to a permanent career-conditional or career appointment under specific conditions.
  • Temporary actions taken under this announcement may be terminated at any time before the established not-to-exceed date.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: knowledge of basic procurement procedures; knowledge of MS Office 365, with an emphasis on MS Excel; able to communicate, in both written and oral form, at a very high level; adept at conducting technical research and able to perform their daily duties in a highly professional manner, while guiding and directing multiple procurement technician.
