As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position serves as a Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC) Manager in the Distribution Group.

Duties

Plans, coordinates, and administers the preservation, packaging, packing, and crating of systems and components for export and domestic shipment, storage, repack, and assembly of modification kits in support of the agency wide National Airspace System (NAS) program.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • A one-year Supervisory/Managerial probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this FV-I (FG/GS-13) position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (FG/GS-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience evaluating supply storage, receipt, distribution, inspection and control actions. Experience performing leadership functions for projects, programs, studies or other work activities while tasked with evaluating the quality of supply chain services delivered by the branch. Experience leading the work of subordinate employees at the organizational unit level.ANDQuality Ranking Factor (QRF): It has been determined that well qualified applicants will demonstrate the following within their resume: 1. Knowledge of supply systems, including automated systems and their interfaces with receipts, storage, and issues processes.2.Experience utilizing policies and regulations.Applicants should include examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
