Duties
You will serve as Administrative Officer working directly for Department leadership and performs a variety of administrative
and general managerial functions necessary to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the Department.
You will manage the operations of Department’s administrative functions.
You will provide guidance to department personnel on matters pertaining to administrative processes including, but not necessarily limited to correspondence, scheduling, telework, timekeeping, and use of communications equipment.
You will provide guidance on awards, travel, contact lists, data calls, training, and HR matters.
You will provide administrative support to the Department security manager.
You will establish and maintain processes to oversee aspects of department training.
You will ensure effective and efficient administrative support services are provided to the Division/Department senior leadership and Staff.
You will prepare/compile Department-level briefs, reports, spreadsheets, white papers.
You will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of department administrative functions and providing recommendations for process
improvement and efficiencies.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You are willing and able to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 15 pounds in weight.
Qualifications
For NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-9/10 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative support to senior level leaders to include coordinating, tracking, or overseeing a variety of tasks for an organization.
For NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 pay band (GS-5/6/7/8 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative and general managerial functions for an organization.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For NT-04: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree;
OR
An LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled
For NT-03: A Master's or equivalent graduate degree;
OR
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's or equivalent degree;
OR
An LL.B. or J.D. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.
