This vacancy is for a Supervisory Export Enforcement Specialist in the Bureau of Industry and Security within the Department of Commerce.

Duties

As a Supervisory Export Enforcement Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Serve as the Administrative Enforcement Unit Chief for the Office of Export Enforcement (OEE). Ensure that all Voluntary Self Disclosures (VSD) program activities are accomplished in a satisfactory manner. Ensure that the Bureau of Industry and Security/Office of Export Enforcement administrative case program is accomplished in a manner that makes the most effective use of Departmental resources and results in appropriate administrative penalties. Supervise Export Enforcement Analysts and other staff, who perform VSD related functions. Compose and review intra-department memoranda, letters, communications, and summary investigative reports. Assist in formulating plans and policies related to administrative enforcement and voluntary self-disclosure matters. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Developing administrative, enforcement and/or regulatory policies; Conducting presentations on regulatory and/or enforcement matters before a large public and/or government audience; Maintaining liaison with investigative offices inside and outside of the organization. Leading teams in identifying, distributing, and balancing work priorities and/ or operations to meet emerging needs within available resources.
