About the Position: This position is with the 99th Readiness Division, Equipment Concentration Site (ECS) 1 located at Fort Drum, New York.
Duties
Manage and direct the overall operations of an Equipment Concentration Site.
Supervise daily activities of a full-time staff, both military and civilian employees.
Interpret, coordinate, integrate and disseminate guidance and directives throughout the Equipment Concentration Site.
Recruit, interview and recommend candidates for vacant positions.
Review and approve disciplinary actions, training requests, leave records and award nominations from subordinates.
Provide briefs to Commander on overall accomplishment objectives, mission accomplishment, work plans and budget.
Develop plans, policies, procedures, and programs to achieve maximum efficiency of operations.
Analyze Equipment Concentration Site operations.
Provide advice to senior leaders and subordinates.
Requirements
- This position requires a valid state driver's license.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized experience: One year of experience with managing storage, maintenance, supply and quality assurance; demonstrating the ability to make determinations regarding equipment use, compatibility and condition; utilizing knowledge of shop operations to develop plans, policies, programs, and procedures; and exercising supervision over daily activities of a full time staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
