THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, Position Description Number D2325000/D2240P01 and is part of the CO 140 AMXS, National Guard.
Duties
WG-12: The primary purpose of this position is to install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions. Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integrated systems. Reviews and analyzes maintenance data; determines if criteria are sufficient to provide adequate test, troubleshooting and repair procedures; devises and recommends tests, procedural changes, or data corrections. Troubleshoots operational malfunctions and analyzes system performance utilizing aircrew debrief data, Technical Orders, schematic and wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, data analysis, common and system-specific test equipment and built in system tests. Recommends methods to improve equipment performance, technical data, and maintenance procedures by reporting hardware and software malfunctions, initiates material deficiency reports both on equipment and in technical data and assists in design changes as necessary. May upload/download chaff/flare dispensers. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- Membership in the Colorado Air National Guard or eligible to transfer.
- Must hold the grade of E-1 thru E-6.
- Compatible Military Assignment: 2A0X1, 2A3X4, 2A3X5, 2A8X1, 2A8X2, 2A9X1, 2A9X2, 2A9X3, or 2A9X4 AFSC.
- Submit all required documentation.
- For positions requiring the operation for motor vehicle, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
- For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
Qualifications
Military Grades: E-1 thru E-6
Compatible Military Assignments:2A0X1, 2A3X4, 2A3X5, 2A8X1, 2A8X2, 2A9X1, 2A9X2, 2A9X3, or 2A9X4 AFSC
1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.

Must have at least 12 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
WG-12:
1. Experience involving installing, modifying, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, aligning, calibrating, and rebuilding multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions.
2. Skilled in performing on-or-off equipment maintenance on one or more complete electronic integrated systems associated with the assigned aircraft and/or maintenance on automatic flight control systems, instrument systems, inertial or radar navigation systems.
3. Experiences included performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integrated systems.
4. Skilled in conducting operational checks, inspections, tests, trouble shooting, removal and replacement of line replaceable units.
5. Capable of isolating unusual malfunctions by using technical orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, tools, and test equipment to include automatic test equipment and flight line test systems.
6. Experiences involved solving complex problems by analyzing installation, circuitry, and operating characteristics of the systems.
7. Skilled in adjusting and aligning system sensors, transmitters, amplifiers, power supplies, display devices, controls, transponders, actuators, servos, computers and other related components.
8. Experience adjusting and aligning system sensors, transmitters, amplifiers, power supplies, display devices, controls, transponders, actuators, servos, computers and other related components.
WG-13:
1. Experience completing operational checks, inspections, tests, trouble shooting, removal and replacement of line-replaceable-units which are linked with integrated systems and line-replaceable-units which are independent or associated with nonintegrated systems.
2. Experience adjusting and aligning system sensors, transmitters, amplifiers, power supplies, display devices, controls, transponders, actuators, servos, computers and other related components.
3. Experience completing technical order compliances, completing component and system modifications, and performing thorough system checks for correct operations.
4. Experience in performing installations, modifications, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, aligning, and calibrating complete electronic avionics multi-system controls.
5. Experiences included performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integrated systems.
6. Experience working as an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12, and possess the craftsman level of knowledge and skills to install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions.

Education cannot be substituted for Specialized Experience for this position.
