You will serve as a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT REPAIRER INSPECTOR in the MARINE DEPOT MAINTENANCE COMMAND of MCLC ALBANY GA.

Duties
You will inspects, performs, and witnesses tests on a variety of fabricated, repaired, and rebuilt work performed by others on a broad range of complex and highly sophisticated combat and tactical vehicles, and support equipment.
You will final acceptance inspection on combat vehicles (including amphibious), tactical vehicles, transportation, engineering and material handling equipment, support equipment/systems, and major end-item components.
You will performs this inspection to ensure and validate that all repairs and modifications have been completed and that inspections by other Quality Personnel have been performed.
You will ensure that the total performance of the product meets the prescribed standards.
You will performs final mechanical inspections, tests, and witnesses tests performed on fabricated, rebuilt, repaired, or modified combat vehicles (including amphibious), tactical vehicles transportation, engineering material handling equipment.
You will performs visual, dimensional, static measurement, and operational tests and inspections.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination and annually.
- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain Load Test Director certification with in 6 months of entrance on duty as directed by MCO 11262.2C_.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain Certified Product Inspector (CPI) certification with in 1 month of Entrance on Duty.
- Temporary promotions may be extended up to 5 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Temporary actions taken under this announcement may be terminated at any time before the established not-to-exceed date.
- Temporary actions taken under this announcement may be made permanent without further competition.
