About the Position: Serve as primary project site employee responsible for the review and application of administrative guidelines necessary for project operations.
Duties
Serve as primary project site employee responsible for the review and application of administrative guidelines necessary for project operations.
Interpret and apply established regulations, procedures, and policies relative to administrative actions in the functions of budget, property management, personnel reports, records management, and clerical support.
Serve as the focal point and liaison between the project office and/or District staff offices regarding financial, personnel, supply, and other administrative transactions.
Provide advice and assistance to project staff in the resolution of a variety of administrative problems requiring the application of various guidelines.
Operate a computer, peripheral equipment, and appropriate software to perform various computer operations in support of office operations such as producing reports, maintaining databases.
Assists the Facility Manager with the annual training needs survey.
Maintains office calendar of supervisor, visitors, meetings, vacations, inspections, and events.
Assists the Facility Manager and Operations Branch Budget Analyst in preparing, reviewing, and compiling data to formulate the individual project annual budget.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- May be required to travel up to 5% of the time for work related purposes
- May be required to serve a one year probationary period
- This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM).

GS-06: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Providing administrative and clerical support to an office and/or preparing responses to correspondence which are of administrative nature and/or monitoring funding levels for special projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
