This vacancy is for a WD-8852-06, Aircraft Examiner located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Medium Range Recovery (MRR) Product Line, Elizabeth City, NC.
Duties
You will serve as an Aircraft Examiner and be responsible for developing and monitoring production and maintenance schedules and related information and technical data in support of the (Program Depot Maintenance) PDM process. The position is also responsible for assisting in the long range planning (1-5 years) that allows the PDM process to meet headquarters requirements.

Applicants will be rated and ranked based on their knowledge of the following job elements:
Ability To Provide Production Support Services (Screen-out Element).
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair etc.
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic).
Use of Measuring Instruments.
Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprint reading).
Troubleshooting.
Applicants at the WD-06 level must have prior experience working with aircraft at the journeyman level or higher, for the performance of duties and responsibilities of this position.
