Duties
Serves as a Supervisory Information Technology Program Manager for assigned duties and projects and manages the implementation and maintenance of the Division's Mission Control Systems' infrastructure.
Oversees all current, future, and proposed IT projects within the Engineering Division's portfolio through assigned project managers.
Leads IT support for special events to include requirements gathering, application of technologies, interface with external/internal partners, oversight of execution, validation of capabilities, and delegation of responsibilities.
Defines business continuity scenarios and continuously reviews program readiness level.
Serves as Branch Chief/Lead and first line supervisor.

- Required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with access to SCI and Special Access Programs (SAPs); including submitting to background checks as a condition of employment and/or continued access to Special Access Programs.
- Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT PROGRAM MANAGER (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Providing IT program-related briefings up and out to Senior Program leads and clients.
Provides expert technical management and oversight within the Information Technology Program Management, Mission System, Information Technology Outreach, and Cybersecurity functions.
Oversees current, future, and proposed Mission Systems projects that leverage IT resources for connectivity, computing, or data storage.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
