About the Position: Administrative Officer for the US Army 12th Aviation Battalion in the areas of administration, civilian personnel policies and management advisor, document control, and a variety of other administrative matters.
Duties
Coordinate civilian administrative functions within the Battalion including preparation and processing of all personnel actions.
Prepare and consolidate reports submitted by the Battalion on all civilian personnel matters.
Reviews all actions processed through the organization.
Assist new supervisors and raters in procedures and policies of civilian performance appraisals under the DPMAP.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- You may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes develop hiring actions by gathering information from hiring managers; provide support by interpreting regulations and guidance such as recruitments, awards, and ratings; and advise supervisors on guidance for incentive awards goals.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
