Duties

This position is located in our Data Analysis Systems. As a/an IT Project Manager, you will: Serve as an authoritative source to lead project teams of IT staff, business stakeholders, and highly technical contract personnel in coordinating and conducting a variety of complex information technology activities. Serve as a source of expertise for planning, developing, and implementing programs to accomplish important mission objectives. Direct progress reviews of the implementation of and/or ongoing conduct of program activities. Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for complex/technical contracts. Provide expert advice and consulting support to customers for requirements analyses, solutions to business problems, implementation of new systems and processes, and other IT issues.

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-14 grade level is defined as one year of experience at the GS-13 grade level, or equivalent, which is directly related to the position, and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: - Experience in systems administration and security - specifically in the areas of identity management, access control and integrated user authentication systems AND - Hands-on experience utilizing identity management (IDM)/Access Management (ACM) software, such as Forgerock, or similar. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
