You will serve as a SUPERVISORY WORKLOAD FORECASTING SPECIALIST in the Public Workload Forecasting Branch (Code 1251), of the Workload Forecasting Program Division (Code 1250), in the Business and Strategic Planning Office (BSPO) (Code 1200), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties
You will establish goals for program initiatives and designs modifications and improvements.
You will develop, execute, and plan the short-term and long-range direct and indirect workload and workforce requirements for NNSY
You will provide source mitigation data, developing trade skill and corporate metrics, workload churn documentation, budget variance data, and mitigation strategy for nuclear and non-nuclear workload.
You will plan the work to be accomplished by subordinates and assign work based on their abilities, NNSY functional responsibilities, and work priorities/requirements, while providing any instructions deemed necessary.
Requirements
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience utilizing knowledge of Shipyard workload forecasting models such as the Strategic Planning and Forecasting (SPF) and the Workload and Resource Report WAAR).
Experience in advanced technical, administrative and management knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices of workload forecasting and program management relative to all phases of workload, workforce, budget, engineering and other related disciplines.
Experience planning for the immediate and future production control for naval ship overhaul, repair, depot, and maintenance.
