You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN for the Expeditionary Maintenance Center of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will perform the duties of a Supply Technician providing supply and financial management support. You will formulate and revise projected annual budget estimates and compile data for budget calls, unfunded requirements and maintain historical data. You will review non-standard requisitions to determine whether standard stock is available to fulfill the requirement. You will assist shop personnel with part identification when required, procure material, hold and use Government purchase Credit Card as necessary You will update database(s) with requisitioning functions, expenditures, inventory, requisition status and follow-ups, financials and process and execution as required.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-08) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing 1) Administrative and organizational support for effective supply operations, with emphasis in the execution of supply regulations, policies, and procedures; 2) Utilizing supply systems (e.g. Micro SNAP) to support procurement requirements, conduct extensive searches for required supply information (e.g. receiving, storing, selection, application), and reconcile discrepancies relating to receipt control; 3) Utilizing computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office products, Teams, Excel) to conduct research, organize data, conduct routine data analysis; 4) Advises and assists with submitting purchase requisitions and procedures and requirements with maintaining government purchase credit cards.
