About the Position: This position serves as the Budget Analyst and will be responsible for supporting the development, justification, execution, and reconciliation aspects of the Camp Stanley Storage Activity Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF).

Duties

Provide planning, evaluation, and financial management for assigned programs within the Army Working Capital Fund(AWCF) for a multi-mission installation. Oversee funding, ensuring strategic allocation and effective utilization to drive project success and achieve objectives. Compile narrative and statistical material and prepares exhibits and related background information for program briefings. Perform analysis of budget requests, consider unforeseen factors in development and production, shifts in project direction, and explores alternative sources of funding. Analyze, approve, and consolidate budget requests from organizational branches to develop overall budget requirements for the installation.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position is covered by the civilian drug abuse testing program. Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019, Condition of Employment for certain civilian positions identified as critical under the Drug Abuse Testing Program.
  • The incumbent must obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • Position requires travel up to 20% of the time.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
  • Financial Management Level 2 certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
