You will serve as an IT PROGRAM MANAGER (PLCYPLN) in the Command Information Office (CIO) of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.

Duties
You will be responsible for managing resources in a visionary, collaborative, and customer-focused manner to support IT initiatives.
You will create and maintain an atmosphere that promotes positive inter-personal relations and open communications between employees and supervisors.
You will oversee work aligned with critical CIO priorities and supervise assigned personnel.
You will oversee and manage development, dissemination, execution, and management of critical agency and strategic organization IT policies and standards.
You will oversee and manage Cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework principles, organizational strategy, governance, resources and community management.
You will provide support in developing and implementing policies and procedures to support the availability, reliability and accessibility of IT and operational systems and IT infrastructure to support overall mission goals and objectives.
You will promote awareness of security issues that could negatively affect operations including security system risk and vulnerability monitoring, identification, assessment, evaluation, contingency planning, recovery, and incident remediation.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Planning, managing, and directing IT operations comprised of multiple specialties (e.g. IT architecture, cybersecurity, network infrastructure, system administration, IT policy planning, IT customer support, etc.); 2) Identifying immediate and long-range needs/resources (e.g. budget, people, equipment, etc.) to sufficiently execute IT mission requirements; 3) Interpreting and applying complex IT principles, theories and regulations to ensure compliance and alignment with organization goals and objectives; and 4) Serving as a key consultant and advisor on multiple IT specialties to a wide range of stakeholders that includes senior military leadership, civilian counterparts and Supported Commands.
