You will serve as an Equal Employment Specialist in the Equal Employment Opportunity Program Division of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
Duties
You will assist in analysis of complaints to determine if allegations are within the purview of EEO regulations.
You will provide recommendations and attempt resolution by negotiating informal adjustments with management and complainant.
You will interpret laws, rules, and regulations and advise on ways to improve special emphasis programs at the installation.
You will analyze informal and formal complaint records to identify problem areas where training would assist in the development of activity employees striving to reach their fullest potential.
You will manage, prepare, coordinate, develop and consolidate data relative to the Marine Corps Reasonable Accommodation Procedure, Special Emphasis Programs and other program areas as assigned.
You will inform all stakeholders associated with the processing of RA requests of their obligations to maintain confidentiality.
You will compile reports and analyze trends to identify problem areas.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researching, interpreting, and applying Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies/procedures, laws or regulations; 2) Processing informal/formal complaints and alternate dispute resolution (ADR) requests; 3) Creating correspondence and related case documents according to procedures; and 4) Applying analytical or fact-finding technique to interpret, resolve or recommend resolution on Federal equal employment opportunity program (e.g. informal and formal complaint of discrimination process, disability and reasonable accommodation process).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
