You will serve as an EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT in the LOGISTICS AND FLEET SUPPORT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Duties
You will perform the full range of administrative assistant duties that include managing administrative procedures, analysis and competency level administrative duties.
You will develop comprehensive plans and strategies for the internal and external integration of day-to-day and long-range actions and activities.
You will relieve the executives of as much administrative detail as possible performing duties of a highly confidential nature in the "privileged communications" category.
You will exercise control of the executive's appointments with authority for commitment of time, forecast protentional requirements, de-conflict problems, and plan and project time for historically reoccurring requirements.
You will utilize modern office automation systems (hardware and software) in performance of assigned duties.
You will answer questions pertaining to matters not requiring technical knowledge or extensive research, use sound judgment, tact, discretion and
knowledge of the competency mission in diverting callers/inquiries.
You will maintain daily and long-range calendar, exercising control of commitment of time and deconflicting problems.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing administrative procedures, analysis and competency level administrative duties; developing comprehensive plans and strategies; coordinating all travel arrangements and preparing itinerary details, pre and post trip reports, and other related correspondence; AND utilizes modern office automation systems.
