About the Position: Serves as a Business Support Specialist for the USACE Seattle District Contracting Office engaged in facilitating the procurement of all types of unique, complex, or specialized supplies and services.

Duties

Assists the contracting officers with post-award functions for complex contracts. Monitors subcontracting for compliance with plans. Reviews post-award proposals and assists with cost and price analysis. Works with contract specialists to prepare and issue complete, compliant, and accurate solicitation and contract award documents. Prepares and coordinates acquisition plans. Schedules and conducts internal customer training events on behalf of the Seattle District Contracting office.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
