Duties
You will serve as a/an Secretary and be responsible for the position's primary purpose is to serve as Command Administrator and the principal office clerical and administrative support position for the FINCEN..
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-08 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience must include the following:
Provides assistance and advice to departments and administrative staff elements regarding protocol, social functions, and official visits.
Provides protocol support and coordination for FINCEN functions such as Change of Command and other formal ceremonies.
Provides support in areas of lodging, transportation, socials, guest lists, menus, seating arrangements, billing and collection procedures, gifts/mementos, and information packets and the appropriate flags as required.
Coordinates detailed plans, itineraries, and distributes to appropriate personnel.
Coordinates with Headquarters and other units staff to facilitate overall scheduling of tasks associated with visits.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

The Office of Personnel management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
