About the Position: The incumbent Works under the general supervision of the Chief of Staff/Executive Officer Operations Group, who outlines work and provides broad general policies, objectives, and priorities; and is available to discuss problems and/or new policies, long range plans and special projects.

Duties
Evaluate monthly cost data on a quantitative and qualitative basis to include trends and projections
Responsible for ensuring the contract files are correctly maintained from development to closure.
Serve as the organizations Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for Operations Group Mission Support (MCS) and Logistics Support Services (LSS) contracts and others organization contracting functional areas within the command.
Provide on-the-job training and initiates requests for formal training.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1). Analyze contracts to provide recommendations to improve the efficiency of operations at the training center facilities; 2). Develop logistical operation plans to prepare budget estimates for contract requirements to accomplish organizational missions; 3). Create schedules regarding contract evaluations to rate contractor performance; and 4). Recommend reallocation of existing resources to avoid waste and increase productivity throughout the training center facilities.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
