You will serve as a SECRETARY (OA) at NAV SCHOOL EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL.
Duties
You will use Defense Travel System (DTS) or similar travel planning system to prepare travel order requests or obtain advances.
You will compose correspondence into final form to review for correct spelling, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
You will establish and maintain effective filing systems of correspondence and documents.
You will inform staff of incoming or outgoing correspondences (e.g., electronic, hard copy) to ensure inquiries are referred to the correct personnel.
You will compose documents (e.g., reports, memorandums) to provide written responses to requests or to provide scheduled (e.g., weekly, monthly) reports.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) utilizing office automation hardware and software systems to provide general office clerical support preparing, receiving, reviewing or verifying documents; 2) Maintaining office records and typing correspondence to support work within an organization; 3) Defense Travel System (DTS) experience, Government Travel Card Agency Program Coordinator (GTC APC) and Naval correspondence.

Education
