You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT (OFFICE AUTOMATION) of NSA SOUTH POTOMAC SECURITY DETACHMENT.
Duties
Monitor physical security requirements (e.g., alarms, key control, safes, personnel identification, contractor access control) to ensure adequate safeguards are being utilized.
Order office and shipping supplies in accordance with federal procurement rules and procedures.
Create documents (e.g., letters, memorandums, reports, correspondence, or other written documents) using Microsoft Word or similar word processing packages.
Collaborate with local and regional suppliers to obtain items to meet the requirements of the program for routine and special items.
Draft memoranda, messages, or endorsements related to security matters.
Brief and present information to senior management.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing and/or maintaining security documents and records; 2) Procuring and/or managing supplies to ensure sufficient supplies and compliance with regulations; 3) Analyzing administrative functions to evaluate efficiency and make recommendations for improvements; 4) Utilizing office automation software to prepare reports in the correct format.
