This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full-Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - FE/Endpoint Svcs /Customer Spt Directorate.
Duties
Serves as an Executive Assistant and advisor to the Chief of Staff (CoS) and Deputy CoS for (C4) Enterprise Directorate, relieving them of detailed planning relating to a wide variety of complex administrative projects, issues, and initiatives.
Coordinate briefings, conferences, and other meetings on behalf of the CoS and Deputy CoS.
Keeps the CoS, Deputy CoS, and the J6 front office staff advised of controversial and time-sensitive issues, keeps them informed of scheduled meetings and tasking, advises as changes occur and anticipates potential conflicts.
Perform and coordinate special projects, studies, and reports on behalf of the CoS office. Receives, analyzes, and takes actions from the CoS and Deputy CoS. Reviews, edits, and composes correspondence for approval and signature.
Acts as the primary Task Officer/Action Officer, facilitating all tasks and suspense items received in ETMS, TMT, CATMS, etc. for action, review, or response.
Manages correspondence and communication related to all open Tasks, providing real time status upon request.
Attends meetings, researches data and provides assistance to the CoS and Deputy CoS for the purpose of allowing for the most up to date information sharing.
Coordinates all aspects of official travel, calendar management, and correspondence on behalf of the CoS and Deputy CoS.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Drug testing is required
- This position requires Top Secret clearance

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as:
Experience in coordinating schedules, handling phone calls and email in direct support of their leadership, aids in preparing reports, presentations, briefings, and other administrative correspondence, calendar management, and tasker execution and communication.
