You will serve as a SECRETARY (OA) in the NAVY SERVICE SUPPORT ADVANCED TRAINING COMMAND (NSSATC)
Duties
You will manage administrative correspondence, telephone, or email inquiries concerning management's assignments
You will prepare official correspondence, executive memoranda and reports from rough draft into final form for signature.
You will greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person according to their needs.
You will prepare presentation materials using office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to present information..
You will prepare travel arrangements, travel orders, or vouchers for Director or staff..
You will prepare replies to inquiries (e.g., general, non-technical) to guarantee a timely response.
Requirements

Qualifications
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Perform and compose various types of correspondence such letters, reports, graphs and policies to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies; 2) Perform general office administrative and clerical procedures to provide assistance and guidance to staff; 3) Receive internal, external and screening phones calls to determine the nature of the call and direct to the appropriate division/ department with in the command; 4) Utilize various computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point to create complex formats; 5) Understand travel arrangements, to include transportation, lodging and arranging schedules; 6) Receive replies to inquiries (e.g., general, non-technical) to guarantee a timely response.
