Duties
You will identify security requirements and ensure compliance is commensurate with the level and type of classified work to be performed.
You will Interview employees/nominees, assist applicants, and coordinate with national-level investigating and adjudicating agencies.
You will develop/review program policies and procedures and provide advice and assistance to senior leaders, as well as management and supervisory officials on personnel security policies and procedures.
Requirements

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- Must possess a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance and must obtain and maintain NSA badging for NIPR/SIPR/NSANet accounts. Failure to possess and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- A Counterintelligence Polygraph is required and a non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- Employee must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and subsequent periodic drug screening thereafter.
- The incumbent may be required to perform occasional travel (25% or less) which may involve the use of commercial and/or government aircraft.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is not telework eligible.
- Work is generally of a difficult nature and requires superior acuteness and discernment to determine the breath and intensity of effort involved in several phases concurrently with other activities both within and outside MARFORCYBER.
- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (722), proficiency level (INTERMEDIATE) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Coordinating, implementing, and administering overall personnel security policies and procedures relating to the continuous evaluation of all employees requiring security clearance eligibility.
