You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the ACOS for Total Force Manpower (CN1000) of CNATRA.
Duties
You will serve as the Assistant Chief Of Staff (ACOS), Total Force Manpower and Personnel (N1) and oversee the major Department of Navy (DON) mission program involving significant resources.
You will function as staff advisor reporting to the Executive Director and Chief of Staff pertaining to day-to-day operations.
You will recommend changes in CNATRA personnel policies and ensures that policies established are in conformance with higher authority.
You will be responsible for the monitoring and coordination of the management and execution of command and directorate business activities, critical support services, and long-range strategic planning.
You will plan, organize, and direct multiple complex team studies requiring application of advanced analytical and evaluative methods.
You will conduct research and special study projects to resolve problems, change procedures or evaluate concepts.
You will advise staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management or headquarters.
You will represent the Command at high-level forums and other high-level meetings with key officials of military services, industry, academia, and state and local governments and community groups.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector advising on manpower and personnel programs (e.g., military manpower, resourcing, military manning, or civilian personnel administration) to improve program effectiveness and efficiency and possess at least one year of specialized experience overseeing programs such as the Defense Performance Management and Appraisal System and Performance Awards Program.
