Duties
You will resolve problems, issues, and conflicts associated with the operation and maintenance of the utility services provided.
You will monitor expenditures in both commodity and cost center budgets.
You will develop training needs of employees.
You will develop workload projections and determine budget, manpower, equipment and material resource requirements.
You will plan future system development and improvements via major maintenance and repairs, recurring maintenance, and operating requirements.
Requirements

Qualifications
For the GS-13: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing and operating a variety of utility information systems (e.g., CUBIC, CIRCUITS, SCADA and GIS) to support utility programs; 2) Interpreting advanced principles of utility and energy management to support business and financial systems; 3) Reviewing and developing IT related requirements for embedded information systems (e.g., DDC, SCADA, Instrument control systems).
For the GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the operation of a variety of utility information systems (e.g., CUBIC, CIRCUITS, SCADA and GIS) to support utility programs; 2) Interpreting journeyman principles of utility and energy management to support business and financial systems; 3) Applying IT related requirements for embedded information systems (e.g., DDC, SCADA, Instrument control systems).
