Duties
You will act as the engineering equipment operator foreman in the absence of the shop supervisor and review work order requirements.
You will use and maintain tools and equipment. Perform maintenance, such as replenishing fluids to proper levels, examining and changing filters, lubricating equipment, and making necessary adjustments.
You will maintain records and documents action. Initiates or annotates forms or reports, such as Operator's Inspection Guide and Trouble Report.
You will review work order requirements reflecting systems, parts, and assemblies to be repaired, modified or installed
You will perform maintenance, such as checking and replenishing fluids to proper levels, examining and changing filters, lubricating equipment, and making necessary adjustments.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- The employee is required, to train and/or guide lower graded employees in the performance of engineering equipment operation duties.
- Work conditions require the employee to drive various types of government motor vehicles and operate equipment. The employee is required to possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - at all times.
- Emergency overtime may be required.
- Must be able to safely and properly wear all personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection respirator, required of the trade/shop.
- The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- A pre-employment physical is required.

- You will drive various types of government motor vehicles and operate equipment. You will require to possess and maintain a valid Class A commercial driver's license
Qualifications
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
