Duties

You will establish deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plan work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors. You will observe work in progress to anticipate and resolve problems, reassign personnel, and coordinate work among workers and other supervisors. You will recommend restructuring positions when necessary to achieve the most effective and economical utilization of personnel. You will exercise technical and administrative supervision in accomplishing trades and labor work in the roads/grounds of the facilities maintenance section You will manage the workforce assignment engaged in repair, installation structure, and/or maintenance including general labor, engineering equipment operation, crane operation, small engine repair, motor vehicle/truck operations, etc.

• Employee is required to possess and maintain a valid Class A Commerical Drivers License- including air brake endorsement and a government driver's license at all times. Training for the government driver's license will be provided by the government.

• Must be able to safely and properly wear all personal protective equipment including respiratory protection respirator required of the trade/shop
• A pre-employment physical is needed
