You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Platform Systems Integration Branch of the Conventional Prompt Strike - CPS PROGRAM OFFICE.
Duties
You will oversee technical and support branches that are responsible for maintaining program level documentation, coordinating and reporting on actions conducted by their field activities and contractors within incumbent’s area of responsibility.
You will perform Program Management and Coordination of other organizations and Subject Matter Expert (SME) efforts.
You will provide guidance and direction to the program team for CPS mission planning concerns
You will provide multi-discipline direction and Engineering Management to the CPS Program based on applicable experience.
You will draft, analyze, integrate, review and provide recommendations to Senior Strategic System Programs (SSP) Leadership for milestone and other documentation in accordance with Government, DOD and Navy regulations.
You will represent SSP at higher echelon Navy and DOD activities or in negotiations with other activities as well as with SSP branches as required to ensure the sustainment of SSP's mission.
You will coordinate program level meetings and develop appropriate agendas for all supporting program groups ensuring program information is disseminated.
You will facilitate IPT's, special advisory boards, off-sites, working groups, audit teams, etc.
You will coordinate the SSP cross-functional and external interface efforts associated with incumbent’s area of responsibility.
You will be responsible for the coordination of acquisition life-cycle concepts to deliver needed performance, reliability, sustainability, maintainability of product deliverables.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing technical program management, software acquisition, or system engineering for a Navy platform or weapon system.
