As a Construction Control Representative, you will provide project management for construction and/or repair projects from preliminary identification through project closeout.
Positions will be located in the Public Buildings Services (PBS) Project Management Branch, Chicago Service Center and Northern Service Center Operation Divisions.
We are currently filling two vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
These positions are located in the Public Buildings Service (PBS), Chicago Service Center Operations Division (CSCOD) and the Northern Service Center Operations Division (NSCOD). These divisions direct, manage, and coordinate service execution relating to the delivery of real property management services. This office develops, directs, acquires and delivers services related to the operations, maintenance, and repair of Federal buildings and leased space (may include delegated buildings).

- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable

The GS-12 salary range starts at $86,962 per year.
Salary is determined by the location for which you are selected.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service as described below.
Specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level is experience applying engineering methods and techniques and construction practices related to building systems (e.g. heating, ventilation, air conditioning, architectural finishes, electrical systems, fire protection systems, or plumbing systems, etc.); defining requirements with customers; developing construction cost estimates; inspecting construction; administering construction contracts; and reading and interpreting engineering and architectural plans and specifications. Such experience must also include independently managing projects and/or large portions of projects (balance scope/quality, schedule and budget) requiring the services of multiple disciplines from project initiation phase through project closeout.
