About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Fort McCoy WI.

Duties

Serve as technical advisor and/or subject matter expert on transportation issues/matters. Monitor performance of work centers for overall effectiveness. Coordinate work of the Transportation Division with customers to whom support services are provided. Plan short and long term operational support and set operational priorities. Project budgeting and execution requirements for the Division. Develop personnel and equipment requirements based on mission.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Background Investigation is required.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon appointment and annually thereafter.
  • The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • This position is designated as a "Key” position. This position shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impacting the organization’s ability to function effectively.
  • This position is designated as Mission Essential.
  • The position is needed to ensure facility operations in support of Continuity of Operations Programs (COOP) and/or performance of duties and completion of tasks that are mission essential functions of the organization.
  • The employee may be required to work overtime. Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate valid state and/or government driver’s license.
