About the Position: Serves as primary point of contact in the Registrar's section independently performing student support duties. Incumbent analyzes complex information to carry out student requests and administrative procedures.
Duties
Establishes and maintains extensive office administrative management information systems (including office administrative and functional files, reference publications, and suspense files).
Coordinate and manage a variety of college databases to carry out
student requests.
Analyze student attendance to ensure course rosters are accurate.
Respond to students and faculty using email and phone requests regarding course requirements.
Support students and faculty using catalogs and bulletins with updated policies and revisions.
Organize files in a logical matter to find relevant information and report on collected information.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Experience compiling data, preparing reports and creating correspondence utilizing various office automation tools; maintaining and updating schedules and/or calendars and coordinating meetings.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-6).
