You will serve as a DEPUTY DIRECTOR in the STRATEGY AND PLANS DIVISION of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will assist the Director with development and provide advice and recommendations for the establishment of new Marine Corps policies associated with strategic and political-military matters.
You will assist the Director with supervision, performance evaluation, and providing direction for the military and civilian members of the Strategy and Plans Division.
You will Coordinate the personnel manning of the Strategy and Plans Division through Table of Organization development and management.
You will prepare an annual manning plan, civilian contractor support, and Individual Mobilization Augmentee/Reserve support.
You will supervise the development of the annual Strategy and Plans.
You will maintain cognizance of the Strategy and Plans Division administrative actions and functions, physical security, and security management program.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience with supervision, performance evaluation, and providing direction for the military, civilian and contractor members. Understanding of national security policy; knowledge of joint and combined military operations and planning methods; understanding of current political-military U.S. national policies and issues.
