Duties

This position is located in the Office of Strategy, Programs & Engagement (SP&E), National Endowment for the Arts. You will serve as a Coordinator and report to the Senior Advisor for Strategy, Programs & Engagement. In this capacity, you will: -Provide advice and support in the administration, management, and coordination of grant-making and leadership activities to the Discipline Directors. -Serve as a member of the SP&E Management Team and assume supervisory responsibility for assigned subordinate staff. -Serve as an SP&E office liaison with the offices of Public Affairs, General Counsel, Chief of Staff, Council Operations, Guidelines and Panel Operations, Budget, Finance, Inspector General, Administrative Services, Information Technology Management, Research and Analysis, and others. -Coordinate the administrative functions of assigned teams within the office.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of full-time specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, with experience in performing the following duties: Working collaboratively as a team member with agency colleagues from various NEA offices; and Coordinating preparation of materials and information in response to internal and external requests.
