You will serve as a FORESTRY TECHNICIAN (FIRE) in the FACILITIES DIRECTORATE of MCAS CHERRY POINT.
Duties
You will develop short range work plans and executes those plans in cooperation with other division personnel.
You will determine, collect and process forest inventory data for timber stand prescription.
You will interpret and present the data to other natural resources personnel.
You will assist in the technical specifications for timber sale, site preparation, tree planting and road maintenance contracts.
You will provide natural resource technical assistance to military units, to insure that training is in compliance with state, federal, Department of Defense and Air Station regulation.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Performing a full range of forestry duties required in the management and protection of timber and other associated natural resources.

Education

- A Master's Degree; OR
