About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems/Military) for the Directorate of Human Resources, Military Personnel Division at Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Serves as a Human Resources (HR) Specialist (Military) performing duties as the Systems Administrator with responsibilities of a wide variety of procedural
and substantive duties associated with the automated processing of military personnel actions and administration of the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A)
and other Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) authoritative data sources in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and higher Headquarters guidance.
Assists in supporting the PERSINS Processing Activity (PPA) 3G aligned to the Fort Leonard Wood, MO Military Personnel Division (MPD) that supports over
800 Unit Identification Codes (UICs) which fall under the responsibility of the Fort Leonard Wood MPD .
Responsible as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all future releases of IPPS-A, this includes training, fielding, testing and integration.
Has shared responsibility for managing, reviewing, updating, and establishing controls for local IPPS-A activities.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of occasional travel.
