The Congressional Research Service (CRS), Congressional Programs and Communications Office, of the Office of the Director (DIR) is seeking a Multimedia Production Specialist. The ideal candidate provides technical support in the pre-production, production, and post-production phases for video content.

Duties

The Multimedia Production Specialist will assist with audiovisual production for CRS events (including lighting, video recording, and audio mixing); recording, editing and producing audio and video content for Congress and CRS employees; and providing administrative support for multimedia-related activities.

Requirements

Qualifications

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to produce and edit video and audio content** Ability to interact collaboratively with others** Ability to operate professional audiovisual equipment** Ability to coordinate equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to exercise judgement and discretion. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
