Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as working with internal and external stakeholders to plan and organize programmatic efforts to identify and address agricultural concerns.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Skill in oral communication.
Skill in written communication.
Knowledge of environmental protection programs related to agriculture.
Knowledge of EPA's responsibilities under various legislative acts.
Ability to identify and address agricultural concerns to ensure all interested parties are included in the process of development and implementation.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
